LITTLE, HILDA DORIS (KINNEY) - At Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen, NB, January 22, 2005, Hilda Doris (Kinney) Little, widow of James G. Little, of St. Stephen, NB. Survived by three daughters, Barbara MacKenzie (Donald), Little Ridge, NB, Linda Seeley (Eric), Barter Settlement, NB, Anne Noddin (Fred), St. Stephen, NB, three sons, Gerald Brown (Susie), Alberta, Frankie Brown (Mindy), Bocabec, NB, Carey Brown (Barb), Bocabec, NB, 12 grandchildren, step grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, two brothers, Willis Kinney (Lorene), Moss Glen, NB, Glenn Kinney (Viola), Andersonville, NB, one sister, Helen McLay, Medway, Maine, special sister-in-law, Evelyn Hewitt, Calais, Maine, several nieces and nephews. No visitation will be held by request. Funeral service will be held at The S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, NB on Friday January 28, 2005 at 2 PM with Rev. Garth Williams and Rev. Buck Booker officiating. Interment at RollingDam Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, remembrances to the Food Bank or charity of ones choice would be appreciated by the family.

SIMSBURY, Conn. - Luc C. Brodeur, 76, a retired owner and operator of Cyrille Brodeur and Son Grocery Store, died Monday, Jan. 24, 2005, at McLean Home.A native of Nashua, N.H., he was a former Ocala resident. Mr. Brodeur was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus.Survivors include his daughter, Susan Vogt, Simsbury; son, Marc Brodeur, Windham, N.H.; sisters, Gloria Plourde, Nashua and Henrietta Laflotte, Hampton, N.H.; brother, Robert Brodeur, The Villages; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.Memorial contributions may be made to McLean Hospice, Simsbury, Conn.Bailey Funeral Home, Plainville, Conn., provided information. -- Luc C. Brodeur, age 76, passed away at McLean Home in Simsbury, on Monday (January 24, 2005). Luc is survived by his loving family: his daughter Susan Vogt of Simsbury and former son-in-law David Vogt of Rocky Hill, with whom he made his home prior to his need for specialized care, their children Christine and Matthew and grandchildren Jonathan and Zachary; his son and daughter-in-law Marc and Linda Brodeur of Windham, NH; his sisters, Gloria Plourde of Nashua, NH, Henrietta Laflotte of Hampton, NH and his brother Robert Brodeur of The Villages, FL and numerous nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by his relatives, friends and caregivers. Luc graduated from Nashua High School in the class of 1946. After graduation he entered the family business, Cyrille Brodeur and Son Grocery Store in Nashua, NH, where he became the third generation owner. After his retirement upon selling the store at age 52, Luc commenced a second career that incorporated his building talents by taking a position in building maintenance at Sanders Assoc., where he worked until his second retirement at age 62 when he and his wife moved to Ocala, FL. He was predeceased by his parents J. C. Henry and Rebecca (Ravenelle) Brodeur and his wife, Fern (Poitras) to whom he was married 48 years. He exhibited his joy and proficiency in creating structurally and mechanically by building his first home and wooden boat at Beaver Lake, Derry, NH; rebuilding the automatic transmission of his 1962 Oldsmobile; as well as building numerous structures for family and friends including a beautifully crafted doll house for his granddaughter. Friends could always rely on his knowledge and generosity to help them with any of their home repair needs. He was proud of being a 4th degree Knight in The Knights of Columbus and called these church communities his home during his life time- St. Louis Church, Nashua, NH, where he served on the Parish Council; Queen of Peace Church, Ocala, FL and St. Patrick- St. Anthony Church in Hartford. Calling hours will be held at Bailey Funeral Home, 48 Broad Street in Plainville, from 9-10 a.m. on Friday, January 28, with the funeral Mass following at St. Patrick-St. Anthony Church in Hartford, at 10:30 a.m. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 29 at 10 a.m. at St. Louis Church on West Hollis Street in Nashua, NH. Interment will be at St. Louis Cemetery Nashua, NH at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be made to McLean Hospice, 75 Great Pond Road, Simsbury, CT 06070. The family would like to especially thank the many individuals who provided spiritual, physical and emotional care for Luc and his family as his dementia and multiple health conditions deteriorated, including: the church family of St. Patrick-St. Anthony; Dr. Sun King Wan and staff; the Pastoral Counseling Center of West Hartford; the staff at Arden Courts, Avon; the staff and volunteers of Unit 4-McLean Home, Simsbury; the McLean Hospice Team and Sean Kennelly, Chaplin at both Arden Courts and McLean Home.Published in the Hartford Courant on 1/27/2005.

COOPERS MILLS -- Marjorie E. Gaudet, 92, of this community, and formerly a resident of South Yarmouth, Mass., and Windy Street in Augusta, died Jan. 23, 2005, at MaineGeneral Medical Center, Augusta.She was born in Melrose, Mass., on April 18, 1912, the daughter of John W. Davis and Ellen (Wright) Davis.Prior to her retirement, Marjorie was employed as store manager at Fall River Sweater Mill of Hyannis, Mass., for 12 years. She previously worked at a hotel in Florida for several years and was owner and operator of Signal Restaurant in East Sandwich, Mass., from 1958 until 1964.Marjorie attended St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Augusta. Her pastimes included playing bridge and oil painting.Her husband, John G. Gaudet, died in 1983. She also was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Davis.Surviving is a son, J. Rick Gaudet of Sidney; two grandchildren, Sara B. Steiner of Hubert, N.C., and Jordan T. Gaudet of West Yarmouth, Mass.; two great-grandchildren, Gavin M. Steiner and Alyssa M. Steiner, both of Hubert; and many nieces and nephews.A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. April 7 at Ancient Cemetery, Yarmouthport, Mass. Memorial contributions may be made to: Alzheimer's Association, Maine Chapter, 163 Lancaster St., Suite 160B, Portland 04101-2406.
