There are many ways to answer the questions I had on my Lab 1 assignment, and he was not only willing to help find the answer but also showed me different codes that I could use to help on future projects. As a tutor for math courses, my approach pairs clear instruction with hands-on practice. If students are struggling with a topic, I work hard to identify the root of the confusion and address it, and then return to the topic at hand. Once ready, I let students practice independently. Math is a subject that really builds on itself, so developing a strong foundation is the key to success. I'm open to tutoring students at all levels.
